Cedar Ridge consists of 36 residential buildings, a cabana, pool and office-storage building. Construction commenced in 1979 and was completed in 1981. Each of the residential buildings has four units – two one- or two-bedroom flats on the lower floor and two two- or three-bedroom townhouse units on the upper two floors. Each unit is assigned one covered carport parking spot and our overall parking is greater than two spaces per unit.

Set in an idyllic cedar forest, Cedar Ridge belies the fact that it is centrally located between downtown Redmond and Kirkland and minutes from both I-405 and SR-520, providing a short commute to either downtown Bellevue or Seattle (traffic willing).

Cedar Ridge was originally sided with cedar tongue-and-groove siding, but years of Seattle winters made replacement of the siding necessary. In 2004 the residents approved a $5.5 million rehabilitation that included replacing the cedar siding and trim with Hardi-plank, new windows and railings and two inches of new asphalt. In addition we increased the structural integrity by adding foundation strapping and increasing the quality of the wall sheathing.

Cedar Ridge Condominium Association is self-managed by a volunteer five-member Board of Directors and a full-time General Manager. Board members serve one-year terms and are elected by the owners at the Annual General Meeting held in November. The Board then elects its officers subsequent to their election. 

Cedar Ridge is fortunate to have the continuity of General Manager Warren DuPont, who has been with the Association for five years. His offices are next to the pool and he’s generally available from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, or by phone if he is not in the office.
